Can you run a total loss flywheel on the new SXR electronics (2005 and newer) with no other changes to your electrical system? If not, why not? My flywheel isn't charging anyway, so I thought I would just get an even lighter one.

Yeah, me too! Gotta get in the water this weekend with the stocker and then rip it out and try the dynafly....My boat is ALOT lighter than a normal SXR...so I don't know what it'll do!

Stocker...gonna try a cutback dynafly.. we'll see how much of a difference it makes.

Thanks, I'd love to take it for a spin..however, that is wayyyyy too much weight gain for me! You can try my trinity boat too....Its at least 75 pounds lighter than a SXR. Increases the speed of the ski alot, just by the weight loss.

Aluminum flywheel will double the hit you get from lightening a stocker...although both make a significant increase in low end hit.

Are you SURE you don't have an exhaust leak???? even a tiny one will choke it out. The only other thing I can think of is water in your gas, or a dirty carb....

The stocker is a Solas Swirl Stainless...so it really is an aftermarket prop already, unlike the garbage they put in SJs.
