I am guessing either a cooling line popped off or your exhaust coupler popped off. They don't fill up that fast! Empty it...set it in the water with the hood off and look for water coming in....if you don't see any, start it up and look for smoke...whereever there is smoke...that is your problem.
This square 650 has no spitter???? wtf? There are two lines coming out of the back of the ski, is one water intake and one spitter into the pump? or is it dual cooling.
The ski is completely stock except intake, rideplate, impeller, flame arrestor.
I pulled the motor and set it on a 2x12 on top of the hull (kept all the wires attached)..pushed it on its side and pull the bed plate. wasn't too bad. That stock pipe on the other hand is a whore if you want to get it off.
Killer vid...impressive filming.
...yeah, youtube sucks. I am in the process of transferring all my vids to a vimeo plus acct. Gonna turn off my youtube one.
I'm very happy that I ordered a Trinity. It may be his cheapest version, but the quality is PERFECT. This is the ONLY hull I've seen that hasn't leaked water in the first year. Bobby is a perfectionist. I have yet to hear any complaints from any customers. I can't imagine anyone ordering...
SXR is wayyy faster out of the hull (better porting). It is not only wider and has deeper chines, but the intake area is shaped differently....an sxr with a stock intake grate will hook up better than a pro with ANY intake grate. Pros are just DOGS out of the hole.
The only downside to an...
I have blown 3 stock Kawi Big pin Cranks.
The 2 SBT cranks I have put in my ski have been perfect.
My brother installed close to 100 SBT's last year at a rental and repair shop in San Diego and said the quality has gone way up from years past.
Get it fixed asap! It should only take about 6 hours to rip it down and replace the seals and put in new gaskets....I wouldn't call it a season.
If you keep riding it, you could take out the cyllinder and the cases and that's big bucks...
Carb linkage was loose...only one carb opening and only one was at idle, the other was closed.
You old SXR needed some carb diaphrams...they were crispy like potato chips! lol...its good to go now..
