we have had WSM pistons last for years in a STOCK or LTD boat....definatly not 200+ psi
same with SBT cranks...they work great, but not for ragged edge performance
i replaced a coil this weekend on a 61x setup....
if you spark checked, both cyls would show a nice clean spark....
when started the front cyl would rev right up but nothing on the rear.......plug wires are broken inside
replaced and ran good as new!
of course its possible...
you could have some extra oil in the cyl..that'll make it read high...
water in the mtor will do the same thing as well...
we compressin tested a stock stroke Lamey this weekend and it blew 300 on 1 cyl and 56 on the other :(

prior to this I flushed one pisser at a time, but the dual backflush makes a HUGE difference as to the amount of water that comes out the pump

is ceramic the same as powdercoat?
think about the old Xmetal poles, protec parts etc etc....the powder all delams after a year or 2...
do some research on paint...use a high temp engine laquer and it will work perfect

sounds like a good way to go from a simple bore job to a complete case, cyl, front cover, stator bendix and flywheel replacement

but make it say:
"at least Im not doing drugs" put it in the ground and ride til someone shows up....if by chance it IS the cops that show first, they'll laugh
