Isn't the true concern the trapped volume instead of the PSI? 10:1 is still 10:1 at any elevation, isn't it? I'm not sure if you want to push the envelope on that without at least increasing your octane levels...

Hey, was it mentioned that the Home Depot straps aren't stainless?

Newmiller Machine will replace them. Chris has done 2 head pipes for me, and they both turned out excellent. He's on PWCtoday, screen name MCN6.

My Q8 had some tabs the bottom to hold the tank straps - stainless glued into place w/ what looks to be 3m 3500. Does your ski have that done? I used Kawi fuel tank straps to hold the tank in place, but my setup is different too.

Don't let it scare you, I've tried flipping my Q8, but I need a wake for sure, not just my own setup wake. Might make it with someone a little lighter than I am.

Get shorter bolts. Use JB weld, 3M 3500, Crest 2 part epoxy (Rigid Red). What type of pump shoe - composite, aluminum, plastic?

Yep, those are beautiful waves. I'd call in sick on a day like that for sure. I've never been out on smooth glass surf yet. It's ALWAYS windy. F-it, I want to move there!

Everyone trash talks the 750 for surf riding. I loved mine, it was a blast. The Pirahna jumped high, had plenty of juice, and only broke a few times (not bad for a 20 year old ski). The one thing I noticed on all the ski's I've seen, SJ's have horrible hood seals, and fill with water quick...
