    Need Help with motor

A pipe, any pipe other than the stock one. Bump the timing. Raise the rev limit. I assume you already have a prop and intake grate ?

Any PV can drop if the stem breaks. That isn't quite true. Stock PV used to drop mainly due to operator error. They do require periodic cleaning and the cables need to be adjusted. The pin that holds them in can work it's way out but there is a cure for that problem plus in mid '01 the...

Gas valves are the only way to go on these. The stock servo powered ones were a pain and slow to recover when the pump unhooks. One day all my GPR stuff will be worth a fortune. :Banane19:

Shows how little I know about glass.:banghead: What ever this thing is made off, just sitting there without the benefit of being bonded to a hull it is still 100 times stronger than my SN. It has a nice solid ring to it when I hit it. Plus, there's no pesky fuel filler to glass over...

Exactly. I have the oneway and scupper on mine because at the time I was doing the drain peoples opinions were mixed. I killed 2 birds with one stone. Now that I have had the scupper/oneway setup for some time I am able to form my own opinion which is that the oneway is the best. The scupper...

If you use the plastic spacer that comes with the billet cone it will stay in there just fine. It's like a bushing that you wedge between the shaft and cone.

#1 By strainer pickup, you mean just the plastic box thing at the end of the hose ? If so, you can have mine. #2 I flush through my pissers (backflush) as it seams to do a better job at getting the system nice and clean. #3 Post some pictures of your parts and someone will know what they...

The X-metal scupper has one thing going for it that is very important to me. If and when it fails like they all do, a replacement part is only a phone call away. My 24/7 one failed some time ago and I gave up jumping through hoops to buy the needed parts. Now I just have the trim ring and rely...

Scuppers, if done right are the cats meow and I love mine. They will sink a ski if it's left up side down for a while (try not to) but other than that mine never let a drop of water in. My current ski has the 24/7 scupper (what's left of it) so this time I will run the X-metal one to stay...
