    Why I like Flat Water

I would rather pick up a bottle of vinegar or 4 and ride the surf any day.

lets see your sweet square noses

Here's my little square with it's little 701 motor. It's a bit dirty from the lawn guys leaf blower but it runs.

lets see your sweet square noses

A lot of the owners that posted pictures have moved on to rounder things in search of Bling. It's OK, I still ride my square.

    650 vs 701x

I'm with Mouthfull on this one. My 650 with a pipe (and some other goodies) did quite well for me. I would swap skis with my friend who had a piped 701 and there was a difference but not a HUGE one. If anything my 650 had a cleaner bottom end, similar mid range and would lose out on top...

Dual cooling for a common "limited" setup

I don't run any restrictors but the water does get hot around here.

2.5 Gal of oil for $24.

it means a good dino oil. He prefers it over synthetic.

2.5 Gal of oil for $24.

Yep, as per builders orders. Chucky has been quite vocal on many threads as to what oil he recommends. Who am I to argue ?

2.5 Gal of oil for $24.

Just went into my local West Marine and they had 2.5 gal jugs of Sea Ranger oil for just under $24. It's a TC-W3 dino oil and since West Marine discontinued the Sea Ranger line they are dumping the remaining stock. Works out much less than Quicksilver at my local Wallyworld.

    home made internal fuel fill...

Did mine somewhat like this and love it. Simple is good and no need to cut the stock tank. http://www.x-h2o.com/threads/27492

So why don't many people post about Wetjet bullitt couplers?

It's also supposed to be the weak link in the drive line.

So why don't many people post about Wetjet bullitt couplers?

My point exactly. Rather lose a dime a dozen coupler than a shaft.

So why don't many people post about Wetjet bullitt couplers?

Scary thought, isn't it. I like the stock 3 finger coupler as it is the weakest link in the drive line. Rather have that snap (always carry a spare) than something more expensive or harder to replace.

760/701 questions, a few of them

unscrew the 5 finger coupler and screw on a 3 finger piece.
