    youre overthinking jesse. thats a good thing. if hes just putting a top end together and wants to make sure of the compression before he bolts everything up, he can check it without an exhaust. compression begins after the exhaust port is covered by the piston anyway. mike, youll be fine.

    it couldnt hurt to bring it but most people just ride the skis up onto the beach, then cart their skis up onto the wall or their trailers at night.

    it kills instantly with the lanyard because pulling the lanyard is the equivilant of holding the stop button down. it sounds like 2 different issues. both sound like the msd enh.

    2 or 3 layers of 25mm padding then wrap the sides with turf and then a piece of turf on top. looks clean and the turf on its side does a great job of stiffening the shock pad.

    he doesnt have topay anything or stand in line. YOU apply for it, fill out what ever you can, mail it to him with a SASE (to the state) with a check (made out to the state) for how ever much it costs to do the title duplicate. when the title arrives to him, he mails it to you.

    ive found that, on a superjet, a bored nozzle is better than a cone. ive never tried a cone on a 550. i know...... this may not help you much. :dunno:

    sounds like a faulty CDI. when you push the button quickly, does the ski start dieing, then "regain consciousness" when you let off?

    yup... its lean. take the carbs apart. if theres crap in the internal filters, replace the external filters.
