running the line out of the head to the bottom of the headpipe, vs the top, results in no trapped air in the headpipe.

theyre stock pickup tubes with 5/16" compression fittings from ace hardware. also, when putting the screws in to hold the filler, make TINY pilot holes or they wont grab. i was thinking rivets would be an ever better choice.... and maybe more than 6

i dont recommend using anything but a NEW gasket to mount the filler neck to the tank.

gil, putting a flow control valve between the tee and the waterbox greatly increases bottom end. a restrictor is okay but the jetworks is much better.
