    if i remember correctly, the instructions say to just thread the studs into the cases until they stop and do not try to force them past that point. to me, that means no need for a double-nut stud setter.

    sand anything thats getting turfed with a 2" sanding disc on a diegrinder. then wipe with an acetone cloth. sand the back of your turf with some 50 grit paper, then acetone.
