Sorry for the confusion... River Rat said he wanted the shortened RN pole about 6 months ago. I just replaced the RN pole with an x-metal pole so i'm selling the RN pole (pictured above).

Just put an X-Metal adjustable pole on the ski... $350 for local pickup if you're interested. Includes X-metal pole bracket for SN, blowsion quick steer, blowsion bar extenders, zero degree bars.

if youre in a bind just go to Home Depot ... they have a bunch of rubber couplers... i got one for a 550 pipe as a temporary fix (not sure if it was 4 inch though).

Right... Back to hood straps... Here's a different approach on a SN Superjet. Got the idea from my buddies Rickter. The clips are 300 lb. rated each.

Just for comparison sake... I run two 500gph bilges in one of my skis and a single 500GPH plus an Epic Scupper in the other. The dual bilges often run for 30+ seconds to clear the hull and the Scupper equipped ski clears the hull in a single BRAPP of the throttle (a couple of seconds). I guess...

The snaps are rated at 300 pounds. I don't think you will pull two apart (600 lbs).

I don't have ratchets on my straps. The other end of the straps are attached using the bolts on the pole bracket. You can make them pretty tight with out the ratchet.

^^^ Fortunately as long as you haven't de-foamed your ski it will not sink all the way. That's my Son on the 650... he wasn't sure what to do... but he towed me to shore, we pulled the plugs, flipped it over and cranked the water out, emptied the fuel tank, blew out the fuel lines, and started...

Here's my 550 before straps... :-( ... and after.

I fit a Factory Limited pipe in my SN and unless I'm mistaken the Limited chamber is bigger than the mod. It was a b^%&ch to put in, but it fit without mods to chamber or tank.

No diss on Kawis intended, I've had a couple that have been great and tons of fun to ride.... Of course my Kawi 550SX has a Superjet motor in it now. -)

Congrats on the new ski... Looks nice! You'll have to get used to riding more than wrenching now. :)

The build continues... added a JetManiac bored nozzle and 62T steering nozzle with an XMetal Trim system. really nice parts from JetManiac and X-Scream. Also added a nice MSD Enhancer I got from Yamabooey.

I pulled the pump out of my Superjet to install a Jetmaniac bored nozzle and trim. I have a Solas YB-CD-13/17 impeller. The leading edge of the prop looks a bit rough. Should I try to fix it or is it no big deal?

Front means business, but the rear keeps going flat :-)

Just turned 52... Ride every weekend in San Diego with my 18 year old son. Bought a 550 two years ago as a project to build with my son and we got hooked. Bought a 650sx... Built it then sold it and bought a SN Superjet. Now getting the cash and parts together for a BOB build.

OK.. that's freaky!

Took it for a ride today... Steering with the xscream is quite a bit quicker than the blowsion quick steer that was on it.
