How many bilge pumps are you running? I see the one between the tank and the motor.
I haven't ridden a BOB yet, but don't they ride pretty nose high?
Where do people usually put their bilges?

Looks great man! My son "Canadiancartel" and I have a Gen 3 almost exactly the same (just red footholds) on order at the Ski Clinic. We can't wait to dig in a start building ours. hopefully take delivery in a couple weeks. We're using an xMetal pole too. Is that a standard length xmetal?
Any...
Wish we were there... last time we were there is was cold as S#$t and howling wind. SInce we sold the Superjet Hull we're down to just one ski... "Problem Child" ... so were sidelined for a couple of weeks.

I'm about to start a BOB build and I want to use dual cooling. Where do you tap the pump for the second cooling line? It's a stock Yamaha 144 pump.
I don't use the stock bilge and I've filled the bilge hole with epoxy. Can I just drill and tap the epoxy or is there another place to drill and tap.
Broke my turn nozzle last Saturday, ordered a new one from JetManiac on Sunday, Arrived on Thursday. Riding again today.
Great seller... fast shipping. Thanks Chris.
I like the ADA girdled head with 35cc domes. Gives you about 180psi on a 701 so you can run pump gas. B-Pipe with a flow control valve is a great option as is a MSD Enhancer. Alot of guys like the Hooker 11/17 prop... I run a Solas 12/18 and it gives the ski pretty nice low end snap. Then you...
Second ride with our new JetManiac Steering Nozzle. Either hit it on the bottom with a shallow landing in the surf, or just lost a bolt... or both. oh well... Ride it... Break it... Fix It... Ride it... Rinse and Repeat!.. :-).
If it doesn't already have rear exhaust it's probably not worth the effort to make it. The only downside to rear exhaust that I've found is that if you're doing a tail stand the exhaust cavitates the pump. The downside to side exhaust is just that it's a bit louder.
I think you're right... With a front exhaust and a Kart Tank there would be plenty of room for the battery up front. My ski had rear exhaust so no room. I used a different form factor battery (Narrower and taller) to squeeze it into the back right corner.
This is a really interesting build...
I still have a reserve switch in the tray... not a bad idea with only a 9l Kart Tank. I have a filter on both "on" and "reserve" because these filters are about $3 and easier the change than the one inside the SBN44 carb. Water separator is easier than emptying the tank.... and i dig the sexy...
I tried reversing the carb on my build too. The pump side gives the most clearance. The FA just touches the hood only at idle when the motor is shaking more. With the idle turned up to 1100 or so there does not seem to be any contact. Sometimes when i let off and get back onto the throttle while...
