buy the sleeves and do it yourself. bake the cylinder in the over for 20 min at like 280 degrees c... the sleeves should pop out. Put the replacement sleeves in the freezer at the same time so when the old sleeves pop out you can drop the new ones in...
I think Ross nailed it actually. I have always thought the following:
Freeride = surf
Freestyle = doing tricks on flatwater
everything else is just "riding"
That said, we get flat water, chop and waves occasionally on the Great Lakes. We're lucky enough to have a variety of conditions...
I just installed a front foot hold I picked up from Highroller... I plan to try it out this season. I usually ride with my left foot that far up in the tray anyway, but then have to tuck into the footholds for doing other tricks. I'm hoping to be able to use a combination of the front foothold...
give it a few more years and you'll get the "look" when you are not in the garage... LOL...:biggrin: Actually, my wife of 14 years is addicted to reality shows, oprah, and maury... so I have no choice but to be in the garage... I hate that crap.
That's a killer idea... I just cut 2" from my stock round nose pole and put it on my square nose project ski for now, thinking I would pick up an aluminum pole later... I think I will take your advice with the fiberglass wrap and not waste more cash on the square project. Solid bro... thanks...
