ok, so I looked at this post http://www.x-h2o.com/threads/330 which cleared up the amount I plan to cut out... I guess I will cut out 3" - 4" from the top part of my aluminum pole, in effect removing the bend from the pole altogether making it pretty much a straight pole.

I could have swore when I bought it that the seller told me it was -2... I guess I was wrong, probably cuz I was just so happy to finally get one.
I was thinking that too... remove from the top. I just wasn't sure where they usually cut from.
OK. I have an AC aluminum handle that I thought was -2" when I bought it used several years ago. I wanted to take another 2" out of it... so when I pulled it off last night I decided to measure it up against a stock pole I had layin around... guess what, my AC pole is STD length.
That said...
Sames here... I have clogged mine a few times... just watching the pissers let's you know. I can tell which line is clogged by seeing which one of the pissers is not flowing right. Then I kwow which line to pull off while on the beach. Usually takes a few minutes to blow it out and I'm right...
