    Hey Phil................

Good choice bro. I love my 24:7 footholds, however seeing Pete's ski up close and standing in the tray, the WCF footholds feel much more comfortable for sure. You will love Paul's porting too... mine was off the hook Sunday. Nice increase in power all the way around...

    Jet ski related death

That's too bad. I hate to hear anything like that. You are right, the rental place should known better than to rent a ski out on a day like that. Nick, do you have to have a safe boaters cert. in FL to rent a jetski? Not that it would necessarily have saved him, but more just out of...

    Hydro Turf 25mm Underpadding <testing results>

I used a more gradual step down into my footholds to prevent that feeling. 25mm, down to 16mm, then finally to 8mm inside the footholds. That way it's an easier transition and doesn't feel like such a drop off. I was worried about rolling an ankle or something.

    cold water ?

Curtis, I have one curcuit that feeds the pipe, and dumps over. And a second curcuit that feeds the cylinder through the bottom of the exhaust manifold, which is split with a "T" so each cylinder gets its own cooling , then two bypasses, one from each side of the head, which dump over. I...

    cold water ?

I got that Feeling too. I originally ran dual cooling when I was living in the south, where the Gulf water temps got into the 80's. I am thinking of eliminating one bypass, and merging both head outputs into a single bypass... do you think that will have any impact, as it seams it would help...

    cold water ?

For me... 35-50 degrees. Below 35 we usually have ice, above 50, around here, summer. Right now, the water temp is around 50.

    cold water ?

Same set up here, same experience too. I usually put a mikuni main jet in one bypass to restrict water flow, at least until the water warms a bit.

    AC or UMI sj pole?

I use a -3" AC pole, but that seamed to be poorly made IMO. My next pole will be an X-Metal for sure!!!! Oh, and you shouldn't need anything else to mount on the UMI bracket. Either will work... you might want an aftermarket spring though.

    cutting a hydro turf pad

Same here... then use some sand paper (or dremmel with sanding attachment) to smooth out any rough areas. The dremmel works great.

    Hydro Turf 25mm Underpadding <testing results>

Call Laurel at HT... for the 25mm I paid like $15 for a piece that was cut to length, and about 8" wider than my tray. This way I could cut out for the footholds any way I wanted. I wound up cutting around the foothold area and using 8mm padding to keep the foot space.
