Here is the one I built out of an old TO GO single trailer,it holds two skis and a storage box

I have a set of used Dakines I will part with,when I returfed my ski I failed to take into account the massive thickness of the underpadding,so they are no longer usable on my ski, I would let them go for $20.00 shipped,they are not perfect but they are cheap and perfectly usable.

Yes many have done it but,"yes there is always a but" don't expect it to leap out of the hole as they usually cavitate out of the hole to some extent regardless of the impeller pitch used.

Personally I wouldn't spend the money for mold release wax,its basically just 100% pure carnabua wax,I usually use mothers Gold or even Kit car wax,wax it ,let it dry and buff it off,repeat this several times.Spend your money on the PVA and apply it correctly,when applied correctly it is smooth...

Depends on what mods you have done to the motor

550 pump produces more thrust at lower rpms,440 pump flows more water and is better for higher rpms and top speeds,for freestyle I would go with a 550 pump and a progressive pitch impeller

do you have any idea what it takes to pull a 17-19 pitch prop on the 440?

The pump will fit but you have to have the 440 shaft and impeller to go with the pump,if you are into freestyle stick with the 550 pump and put a decent impeller in it ,it has better hookup at low rpms

By bringing the piston to TDC ,then using a caliper you push it down till it hits the piston,then you rotate the crankshaft to BDC and take a measurement again,do the math and you then have the stroke stroke = piston travel in the cylinder.

Well I could just look at them and tell the difference,but you will probably have to do some measuring,I will measure across the bottom of a 440 piston and give you that spec if it will help.

The bottom end parts are interchangable with the exception that the cases have to be enlarged on some 440's to accept the larger 550 pistons.

Last time I tried to order one I was told they were no longer available,if you find out different LMK :grumble:

I haven't had one done in a while but I used to send them to Rossier to have them reworked,I believe they got around $75.00 to repair one,which is reasonable considering they first had to mill down the head ,then recut the domes.I would contact Group K directly for their pricing.

I have personally tried it,they are totally interchangable,just relaying the info.I should write a book one day titled what fits what lol
