Apparently you guys have never changed the oil in an old neglected Seadoo jet pump,once that synthetic oil gets burnt it is God aweful.Wait did I just make a religious reference?

John I will have to correct you here,you can use a Seadoo starter off of a 951 engine,they are the same as the 650-750-800 starters,also the Polaris starters for the Fuji engines are the same except for the rear end caps.

I think I have one of the Polaris 650 thermostats here somewhere but even it is too big for a Kawi or YAMI engine.It will however work on my X2 since I have the massive cooling hoses that I was running on the Rotax engine hooked to it.:booty:

Jetlyne made a head back in the day for the 650 engine that had a thermostat in it,the main claim besides more compression was consistant tuning or holding a tune.

He is correct about the thermostat and controlling temps,not sure about being to go up 4 jet sizes but in theory yes it is possible.Th Polaris watercraft engines used thermostats with a pressure relief valve,out of all the brands I worked on Polaris was less fiddely than the others regarding...

Yes stronger pulse,if you split the pulse line it will work but essentially you are only getting 1/2 pulse per carb then,not what it was designed to operate at.
