I would use epoxy cabosil myself ,if you don't want to bother nmixing that up West system has a good product for this use called Six one and its way cheaper than Plexus or other adhesives of this type.check the link below http://www.x-h2o.com/threads/47047&highlight=west+system+product

You know freshwater guys usually treat their skis a little differently than surf riders,surf riders are used to their stuff getting beat all to hell so yeah to them is isn't a big deal,I can see where it might be to a fresh water rider though,sorry about your ski.
