For a stock 650 that sounds about right. You pull the throttle, stand back and wait as it slowly moves you forward. 150/150 is stock compression so it sounds healthy enough. Any pipe will make a huge difference.

If you don't want a front exhaust, just lower the tube in the bulk head.

Never saw the need for a choke or primer. Guess I'm lucky not to have long winters.

Take that exhaust tube out and go all out. You might as well. If not that than at least drop it down in the bulkhead so the tray can be absolutely flat.

I might do that with the hull I'm retiring, it's a mess anyway so why not have some fun with it. Would bolt down some 1/2" plywood so I could find just the right spot for the straps. Take a drill and some drywall screws to the beach and have some fun.

Plan cutting a lot more than just your foot, allow room for padding and turf. I'll be putting 25mm on the bottom and at least 8mm on top plus turf. That means that the opening will need to be that much larger.

See if it will run on diesel. :cool2:

The way I have it now (foam scooped out all the way to the sides) it would be so easy to let the blade slip and go all out. It's hard to take that step without having ridden a flat deck first but someday I will go psycho on a hull.

Just doing a bit of garage surfing (actually van surfing) to try the new tray out. Do any of you that have the channel all the way to the dash use the front part of it ? Just don't see how or when it would come in handy, that's all Since it's cut, I will leave it but not too sure about it...

I shove 5200 into the inserts every time I remove a bolt. Holds the bolts in quite well and is easy enough to remove the sealant the next go around.

Don't overbore just for the sake of bigger pistons. The few extra cc's won't make that much of a difference. Port it and run more compression, good carbs make a big difference as well. I only have a 701 but it does quite well for its self, X-Scream made this thing ROCK. :cheer2:

How about the top of your feet ? I have permanent bumps on mine from the REVs, just ran out of space for padding up top.
