nope... X cdi's have a female terminal on the white/red stripe wire...then the X stator has a male terminal on that same wire T cdi's have a male terminal, then the stator has a female they could be vice versa, i dont have it sitting in front of me.....

so, I have read that it is possbile to make a T cdi work with an X stator by just cutting and resoldering on the M-F connector on the white wire red stripe.. question is, can you tell the difference between that and an actual 61x cdi once its running?

i wouldnt bother with a carbon topdeck for the fx.....the OE top deck is thin and light enough.. the bottom is where the weight is, and if you are gong to go thru the troule of making molds....make it for a 144 pump with a SJ driveshaft the carbon blowison hood I got from seats is nice...

the blowion carbon hood I have isnt as light as I thought it'd be....its def a few lbs lighter, no more than 5-6 though

I use ones just like that.....the ones with the amara/kevlar palms are the strongest, I think the odi grip screws tear them up.. what I like about them is the fat 2" wrist strap....they never come off, and give just a little wrist support if you piledrive the bottom you are using a size...

you guys may have better surf, but the laws in cali are GHEY! ill take out shallow water and smaller waves anyday vs. having to deal with the law

exactly. what happend with my car....when I first did slammed it the thing woudl wheelie all day long (and were talking about a 35lb car)....but it only ran like that 2-3 tanks you have other issues then.....do you have a torque wrench? if you got that much compression, I'd check the dome...

tractor supply USED to sell SS ratchets for 40 bucks for 4 of them...they dont carry them anymore though.. turfing the strap takes about 10 minutes.......the ones I have done just dont have the plastic piece that goes on the hood..a piece of turf works just as well... the ratchet bolts to...
