the powdercoat will not likely be covered under warranty....its just one of the downfalls of ANY part that is powdercoated in the ocean why are you not "supposed" to use a spring? you can do whatever you want..some like a loose pole, some like it stiff.... personally, I like a "floaty pole"

IMO it doesnt save you enough $$$ to warrant it...it will cost you more in the end to not buy a direct OEM replacement

its the front exhausts.........seems that the X2's are some of the worst i think you could pretty much run any waterbox you like with a rear only outlet... but once its up front and above the waterline all the time it gets piercing

Rode the full carbon SUperfreak boat today .....incredibly light, I think it was a -2 hull and I had ZERO issue with adaptation in fact, didnt even realize it was a shorter hull until afterwards the tray is killer, the boneline mods make it slicker than snot and it seemed to handle wave...

it will rip with the setup that you have, and the powervalve/clearance issue should be easily fixable with an Xmetal spacer but ditch the blaster pipe and find yourself a LTD superjet pipe

I dont run TL, but keep my grounds visible at all times... most of the time the bolt hole right above the exhaust manifold at the front of the cylinder if very convenient.. on my X motor, I have it grounded to the intake manifold (sorry chuck :27: and booted so it gets checked...
