I switched from 03 to 08, but switched stators too....The 08 was used as a training aid in a school and was never run on water. So I basically got some brand new electronics a couple years ago. I am also using a SS switch from a STX1200. (up and down one)

Try to find one with a Bpipe even if it's an extra 4 or 5 hundred. You'll save yourself that same amount later. RN are dogs without a pipe. I would actually save up 3500 or 4000 and buy one with a Bpipe, footholds, handlepole, steering system, hood and impeller. You could ride it for years...

Interesting. It looks like it hooks up to a couch or to that jetski engine carrying device he had made up (which is just asking for water ingestion) . I would be afraid to crash into the ski or the engine...also, can't see it working in waves.
