OK...RE-Epoxied the flywheel back together....going to put some set screws in it so it will never come off again and then tack-weld the heads so they don't move. Epoxied the pickup coil back on too...should work. Jeff used a bent fork to set the timing...it's set at stock setting. :shrug:

OK. not electronics. The flywheel broke. It is a Vilder Flywheel and the outer ring popped off. They are just EPOXY-ED on!! WTF....gonna drill and tap some holes into this ring and screw it back together and then zap weld the screws in place. It also destroyed my pickup coil. DAMMIT!

Look into those wires and make sure no copper is exposed then wrap them in duct tape. Sounds like you have other loose wires if your moving around wires and it starts!!! Tighten the two wires onto your electrical box and make sure the one touching your starter is tight...next clean off all the...

Hooked an electrical meter to the plug by the ebox that goes to it and checked it that way....seems fine....or is there something else I should look for?

Did that once before, went back to stock, they lasted longer. They didn't make it one season...at least I got 4 out this stock coil.
