I don't see the point in going aftermarket....I have one, but the compression is only 155 (on a fresh motor). Lasts longer that way..I would go with a lightened flywheel before increasing your compression.

Had Proks, removed them and put back on the stocker, it's ugly, but it keeps water out better. No change in performance.

Yep, chop up the stocker. I like a stock intake with the stock hull....with a lighter hull, you'll need a scoop grate, but I like the ski to be able to slide.
