I found a 4 inch coupler off a 300sx stock exhaust the other day in my garage. Looks like it would fit perfectly. If I was ever in that bad of an emergency I'll remember its there and give it a shot.

How much are you looking to pay for both skis? You might want to give the FX-1 a try, if you don't like it, sell it and look for a different ski.
