Best Long Term Engine storage method???

Before I pulled the engine out of the ski I had already ran salt away through the engine connecting it to both my flush kit and then a back flush kit. I have already fogged it properly. So it looks like I'm good to go. I might consider storing it in a bag/engine bag if I decide to keep it...

Best Long Term Engine storage method???

Thats what I was thinking? Should I only pour it down the spark plug holes? I am going to leave the reeds/mani/carbs all on if I keep the engine. One of the 300 sx engines I came across had oil filled all the way past the throttle butterfly in the carb. To what level should I my yami 701?

Best Long Term Engine storage method???

I have an engine that I am on the fence about selling or keeping to either build in the future or keeping as a spare. Just wondering if fogging alone will be enough for long term storage? The reason why I ask is a couple of times I have seen an engine completely filled with engine oil while...

    Waiting for parts sucks

Oh last winter I had a problem with that too. I would never send my props out to any ones else, and Dave is the best, but last winter it took 2.5 months for me to get my prop back. It was when Dave was going through some stuff, so thats understandable, I wonder whats holding your order up?

OEM SJ cover not fitting... Input please

I'm gonna have a friend who can sew pretty well take a look at it. Maybe he can alter it to make it fit. Maybe he can use some of that black leathery/vinyl stuff in the places where the cover has to be adjusted.

OEM SJ cover not fitting... Input please

Nope, I tried every thing. I lossened the elastic straps as much as I can, I tried fitting it over the handlebars first, I have gone nose first and pulled it up as far off the nose as possible.

    foothold-shortened pole question

The reason why holds cannot be too far forward is b/c the exhaust tube going down the right gunwale gets in the way. I installed my holds as far forward as I could.
