Georges, That was the same with my SXi that I sold, you have to choke the Kawi 750's when they have cooled down or sit for some reason. Call me, if you want to go riding today...

I use two coats of weldwood on the turf, and one on the ski. The ski is not porous, so does not need more than one coat for adhesion. Make sure you scuff both the turf and ski with 40-60 grit sandpaper really well prior to applying the contact cement. Are you going with the marbled...

Chine walk is the ski moving side to side while on plane. It basically bounces from one chine to the other. Matt, not sure what prop is on it, I think SFL put the prop on. She sill get up on go though...

WOW:bigeyes: Question. Carbon fiber is very strong and light when complete, but I have heard that any little nick in it, will weaken it tremendously. Anyone in the know? I can just see a rock chip in the bottom of a hull like that, that renders the hull useless.:dunno:

When I shimmed the ride place with 3- 1/16th SS washers in the rear, and 1 - 1/16th SS washer in the front, it totally eliminated the porpoising but did add to the chine walk at high speeds. The Ski now chine walks very similar to a SJ at speed. I though about removing a washer at a time in...
