Fuel TV+Jet Ski Free Ride. Why Not?

nice job guys. I love fuel tv - and watch it all the time. they go beyond just the sport and get into the lifestyle that goes with it. A freeride could easily be made to fit the show "first hand"... it just needs to be covered the right way. I've always had a vision of a documentary style...

    Handle pole bushings, need resistance

i do the same thing with my AC pole and lowered bracket. I installed new bushings, and wedged a SS washer between the bushing and the bracket then cranked the bolt... much tighter that way.

    power vs skill

to me Skill > Power. I'd rather be a great all around rider, then an average rider with a ton of power. just my opinion. grow your motor as your skills advance... :fing02:

    mat padding on rails

do it like Jett said. I'm on 3 seasons with mine and it's not showing any signs of pulling away. fill in the holes in the rail (used to screw the oem rail covers) with silicone or filler to keep water from pushing behind.

    rear lip

you mean like this? if so just watch landings. from excessive tail landing barrel rolls my left rear corner has delaminated. I need to wrap the rear bondline with some glass. i don't think i would do it again... hasn't really changed much in terms of handling. at least not that I have...

    Internal or external fuel fill..

I have one RN with external and one RN with internal. I can honestly say that I prefer the internal for cosmetic reasons. While you have to remove more to fill up, i usually take my hood off when i fill up anyway. Functionally, it doesn't matter though. it's all about the look. If I...

50-60 MPH Wind Advisory Today - Interesting riding

on lake erie 20-25mph is the best, any more than that and you get blown all over the place. however, i've been out on lake erie on days with gale force winds and snow. 35-50 mph with higher gusts.
