    SkiNaked's Round Nose Superjet

LOL, your loss :haha: Those sponsons work every bit as well as the parabolic sponsons that everyone else was selling for $300. Maybe the problem is the rider?

    Best under tray cooling lines?

Thanks for not proving your point. Again

PVC (Or ABS) Exhaust Tees and Piping

I should say he foams the bottom in before the halves are glued together. Probably because it's easier AND it works better :skull2:

PVC (Or ABS) Exhaust Tees and Piping

Not even close. This isn't line for freaking blowing bubbles in fish tanks :purr: It's quite stiff. And Jeff foams when the halves are apart. So there is no pressure on the lines.

Ummm, last I checked, EVERY squarenose has a PLASTIC waterbox. So does every Waveblaster.

    Best under tray cooling lines?

OMG, this is the quote of the century (considering the source). ROFLMAO!! Mods, please feel free to lock this thread, Charlie has spoken (and once again he provides no knowledge). BK, there may not be a best way, but for someone who so adamantly ripped on braided hoses, you think he...

    Best under tray cooling lines?

Please don't lock this one, I am really curious to find what is better about a wimpy little straight tube.

    Best under tray cooling lines?

Give me some reasons why you think your way is better :sneaky:

    Best under tray cooling lines?

I forgot to mention, barbed fittings on the ouside hold the waterlines a lot more securely, no hoseclamps are even needed

    Best under tray cooling lines?

Personally, I'd go with an aluminum exhaust tube, it does seem more robust. But for cooling lines, Jeff's method is the best I've seen and I'll explain why. Number 1, that tubing will last forever. There are absolutely no worries about the durability of the tubing. It is very stiff and...

Funny, huh? And apparently he's quite a knowledgable engineer :haha:

Dude, lay off the cooling lines, they are superior. Seriously! The only problem the exhaust might have is if it falls apart. That's it. If it doesn't, it won't have a problem. The exhaust tube just has to be there. It doesn't need to support anything. It doesn't get hot. Some people...

You got that backwards Steve. What you should have said in bold there was "using infusion will not distribute the perfect amount of resin to material ratio", by process design. Also overlapping sheets still need the correct resin/cloth ratio to maintain strength  Prepreg will...

Let's just put it this way, there are 3 X-Jets older than all of your hulls and they have all held up well to serious abuse :woot:

That's the first prepreg REV hull he laid up. 60 pounds hull and hood. The hood itself is 6.5 pounds.

    my waterdawg vacation!

I'm not too sure about the plastic exhaust, but as long as it doesn't melt and it stays together at the joints, I don't have a problem with it. No need to waste money just to waste it. The braided cooling water lines... I like them a lot, I wouldn't do it any other way. The hoses will last...

Why don't we just ask whoever has a Lightweight hull and a REV1200 to give us his thoughts?

    my waterdawg vacation!

Actually to me that looks like someone rolled up $5,000 and smoked it. Bye bye money, I don't care that I got nothing for you! Well looking at this from the practical side... Norbert has a LOOOONG way to go to catch up to Jeff in the freestyle hull business. And he will never...

He only had half the money in Havasu. Jeff said it will be gone this month.
