I use the narrow part of the 2x4 on mine... measure between the chines on the rear of the hull on each side of the ride plate... they're something like 12.5"s apart. that's the perfect spot...

charge it... then throw a volt meter on it... it will read around 12v while off. Start the ski, and have the volt meter on it... it should read close to 13v - that means it's charging while it runs. if it doesn't read close to 13v then it's not being charged. Could be a bad rectifier or...

AC - I have a Custom Wammer reinforced AC pole with a scupper in the bottom. It's strong as hell too. Since I built my new ski I had the pole modified again... blasted, shortened 6"s, and repainted. I had the welder who did the work check it out and he said it was solid... 1st pic - what...
