I've got like 5 more blocks of the polystyrene foam that I used in my orange ski... it came out much lighter than the two part foam, and it very strong. If you need a few blocks let me know... i can let you know how I cut and shaped it to fit.

if it's only temporary, don't sweat it bro... as long as you use good ratcheting straps to hold it in place it will not slide or rock around at all. I used to drive from Mobile, AL to Buffalo, NY every summer with my ski in the bed without any trouble at all...
