that is a bummer but did you send the seller a pm or e-mail before posting on a open forum ? sometimes people miss thing's or sometimes they are trying to pull a fast one, but I personally have seen both and it can get ugly to go public before giving a person the opportunity to make it right...

there is nothing wrong with using a tap just be careful to start it straight and you will want to use a bottom tap not a starter tap.

it's a jet boat and when you throw it in reverse and punch it that is exactly what they do. my son has been washed right out of the boat before in a bayliner jazz lol
