did you try to adjust the air screw's on the carb we had the same thing with a kawi 650 and a coffmann all we did was adjust the screw's and we did not have to rejet, plug's look perfect, you might try that first.

I don't know about that however I do have a question have any of you guy's ridden both a fx-1 and a js 550/650 conversion ski? I have a 650 conversion that I just completed and I am not a very good rider yet but this 650 conversion rock's big time what do you guy's think? fx1 that is a nice ski...
