Yep like bk said, dig out any foam touching those sides before refoaming. It helps sometimes, sometimes not. I usually reinforce at least the exhaust side and after I do that, the foam never pushes it back out. :indifferent:
Mine didn't contour either. I've done two sets following Blowsions instructions exactly but I did some finish work with fairing and body filler. Get a friend to help lay them down with you.
Good luck! A layer of biax under the nose has worked for me on more than one occassion but I've started using two to three layers here recently :banghead:
Yep. Called twice on Tuesday. One chick asked if I knew "Scott" V-something. I said of course but that didn't help. They wouldn't give me the government rate of $68 either. I'll get it worked out, I was just wondering if anyone else had the same problem. Thanks, mark
Enlarge them like this and keep the fronts blocked. Like BK said, keep the bottom edge as close to the liner as possible to allow water to drain out easily. You could run some split .25" vacuum tubing around the rim if you wanted to play dress up...
Nothing wrong with that! I've eaten my bars pretty good this year. I was looking into lacrosse helmets but didn't want to spend $100+ not knowing whether everything was stainless. Are hocky helmets stainless?
Stocker with a 3" radius D/C cutout for me. Everyone I've turned on to it locally has (or will) loved it. I keep a spare steering nozzle and ride plate on hand but it's last all season with no problems...
Nice clips jerry :woot:
Good thread too. I always wuss out on the bigger stuff and switch up to a stab if the wave is vertical beyond my comfort level. 1.25-1.5's suck
