I don't have much experience with tubbies but if it were me, I'd leave them on and see how I like them. I can't imagine them being worse than a ski without them.

I just weighed a stripped 01 yesterday. 101 pounds w/the pump shoe. A couple ounces of water came out with the exhaust tube but the foam is fine. I've also stripped a 96 with NO stickers over the foam holes and it was fine. The foam had the common problem in the back where it'd shrunk and...
