I'd try for the 701 cylinder. IMO it is a much better cylinder than the 650 cylinder. The exhaust port on the 650 cylinders is much smaller than on the 701.

Smitty and I have both had similar experiences in cold water. Both our machines had dual cooling and ADA aftermarket heads which cool better than a stock head. What we found was the above combination would not let the motor warm up properly and it would be slugish. When we blocked off one of...
Fix it before it spreads too far.
My old x-2 cracked in the middle. The crack was aprox 6" high and went from the tray mat up the side to under the seat.
Also had a buddy that basically cracked his x-2 in half.

Interesting.
My friend that I got it from had a gp800 as well as a superjet and a blaster.
Maybe it's an 800 shaft?
Anybody got the measurements for a gp800 driveshaft?
Steve
Ok thought this was a superjet driveshaft but it's not.
Anybody know what it is.
It's apox 31.5" long and the thread for the impeller is bigger than on the superjet driveshaft. The threads measure aprox 7/8"
Thanks

That's a lot of damage. I often wondered how much stress I was putting on my motor mounts when I landed upside down. I've been lucky and never broke any mounts just caved in the top of my ACracing pole.
Good luck getting it back together.

Sounds like it may have had to much cut off the back and you might need to make up a spacer.
