    Wake Jumping Etiquette (Safety)[ORIGINAL THREAD]

Great thread. I've only got one thing to add DON'T RIDE UP THE MIDDLE This is the landing zone. Wait your turn, make your jump and then come back outside of the wake to get inline for another jump. Do not land and then follow the cruiser by riding in the middle of the wake. That...

Camping: Anybody got room for my wife and I

I know this is poor planning on my part but I had to wait and see if I was going to be able to attend or not. So if anybody has room on their site for Tracie and myself, one truck and one tent let me know. Thanks Steve

    more stroker quesions...

With a stock rod or even a longer rod you must be useing a special piston with a higher pin location. Nope, not unless your building a flat top motor. I'm running stock type Pro-X pistons in my Lamey 5mm stroker motor. If you are using a stock cylinder you will either have to make a spacer...

    more stroker quesions...

Do stroker motors last as long as non stroker? I would think not. Depends on how you set them up. Any motor tweeked for high performance will not last as long as a stock one. Do they use shorter and thicker rods or special pistons or maybe a spacer above or below the cylinder? Most...

lets see your sweet square noses

It's ugly but it runs. Take one blown up 1991 squarenose Re-inforce the hull and handlepole area, replace the blown 650 motor with a Lamey and this is what you get. Other mods -skat-trak swirl -b pipe with mod chamber -dual 46 mikunis -top loader scoop grate -aluminum handlepole...

Here's a similar thread on the same topic. http://www.x-h2o.com/threads/2561 Basically I think dual cooling is a bit much up here especially in the spring. I usually restrict my water in the spring. Steve

    squish questions

This may help too. The wrist pins are parallel to the crankshaft meaning they run from front to back. When you put the solder in the spark plug hole it must go towards the front or back of the cylinder not towards one of the sides. Steve

    cold water ?

With a stock type head or a head that uses a stock gasket anything below 50F. For an ADA head since they cool better a little bit higher aprox 60F. I'm want to experiment a little more this year with operating temps. I got the impression last season that I might be running my motors a...
