I think with the forged pistons you just have to run more clearance and let them warm up properly... I've used Weisco's in my dirtbikes w/plated cylinders, no problems.
Pete, have you considered... maybe if more people criticized the Octane during its development it would have turned out better?
Did anyone catch the sticker price on this new ski?
I think a 140 will work better for you. If you get to the point where you can make it cavitate (which you won't be close to doing with your setup), then you might want to think about a 144.
