What size stud does a typical manifold take for mounting carbs? If I had to guess without one in front of me, I'm thinking M8x1.25x25mm? Riva manifold for 44's if it matters...

Anyone found any M12x1.5x40mm? Finally got around to installing a used headpipe that has apparently been tapped out...

Anyone have any recommendations on where to start with a single blackjack 46 on a 61x w/bpipe? It currently has a 120/135 and is at 2turns low, 1.5turns high, didn't check popoff. Thanks,

Pretty damn quick. Scuff up both surfaces, wipe clean, use pvc cleaner, pvc primer, pvc cement. On your hose clamps you don't need to glue them but to each his own. Is that a spring-loaded valve? How much force does that take to open? I've checked one out before and it seems like my bilge...

I've always used hose clamps for the one-way and pvc cleaner/primer/cement and maybe some 5200 for any adjoining pvc pieces. Then 5200 to the hull and bulkhead.

Yeah lead with your head and try squatting moreso than focussing on humping your pole. Don't use trim during the roll, it looked like you might've been.

Nice vid! The rolls should clean up some if you tuck more and keep the pole on the hood. Looks like you are trying to tuck but are not keeping the pole down - same thing happens to me :banghead: You using trim on those rolls?

Kinda related, any risk in tee-ing the pulse line to each fuel pump instead of drilling/tapping a second fitting?

I've ridden my ski and a nearly identical ski which had no porting and a stock waterbox many times and I noticed about zero difference except noise. I think the weight thing goes to people's heads when you start nickel and diming it. Maybe it matters more for flats :dunno:

I had one in mine and traded it back for a stocker. Loved the sound but I've got a serious problem with my ski taking on waaay too much water when it floats upside down. I don't trust the baffles or lack thereof, not that that's my only problem :banghead:.

I did it the same way as pretty much everyone else does. Formed up some cardboard and covered in duct tape. Then covered my plug w/cf. For the cutout I just eyeballed the holds on my wcf hood. I'd like to see some pics of the tupperware though - do you cut it up to get it to mount flush I guess?

Mine xmw trigger is hooked like in the pic. I filed it down after getting tired of the hole in my glove catching on it.
