Yep like that. Keep an eye on the line going into the stinger it doesn't take much to clog it. There should be a jet in that fitting to restrict the water to the stinger too. A water injection system really make that pipe come alive too.
Didn't west coast make a part I think it was called Roosterbooster or something close to that. It did the same thing as an enhancer but it was in series with the CDI I never had one but i remember guy talking about them at one point.

my impulse thought is there are two positions the crank will naturally rest in when you kill the motor due to compression so there are two section of the wheel that see the most wear. I could be wrong, just a thought and I have been sick all week so my brain is in slow motion.
