Can someone tell me why we don't mix in a little nitro for our skis, as most RC 2 stroke engines do? Seems we would have to spend a lot less money on strokers, big bores, porting etc. if we could use say 15% nitro in mostly stock engine.:sneaky: I know the fuel lines & some fuel system...

Well the spot was pretty decent for those who came up. :biggthumpup: :biggthumpup: Waves were consistently knee to waist, not very powerfull though. A few bigger sets. At the beach away from the inlet it was kinda flat, consistently knee to thigh high at best & breaking shallow. A fun day.:woot:

Hero waves... Yeah, I'm jealous. Leaving now to hit the 2-3 footers breaking over the sandbars.:biggrin:

ME! Prolly Garret, don't know who else. Forecasts call for a small pickup in size, and in addition you know the spot is always at least a foot bigger than Daytona. :) What time ya showin' Scotty?

Sanford, I switched from OEM38s to OEM44s & didn't see any real difference in fuel consumption. I too venture miles up the coast away from the launch area & this was a real concern (especially going big bore) but so far I run out of gas before the ski does...:biggrin: The transition from just...

See if you can find a machine shop that has a small high precision drill chuck, or a pin vise You could pay them to use for a few minutes (you could buy one too.) With this you can grab the top of the pin & rotate it while pulling up, working the pin out.

Check comp again after a cooldown & a couple minutes on the hose. Maybe it'll come back up...
