    My (Daytona?) "Freeride" SuperJet Project

1.5 N&S, I think it was a 65 gram spring. Porting was a mild race port massaged by Paul for better low end. 190 PSi comp. 33cc domes, 81.5mm pistons. It ran well till I melted a piston from having (unknowingly) a 650 headpipe. I did do sustained WOT runs too. Many times.

    My (Daytona?) "Freeride" SuperJet Project

Sorry to hear about the problems Sanford. It looks like it may have been a 4 corner seizure, can't really tell from the pics. You probably can lighyly sand & reuse the pistons;muriatic acid may have cleaned the aluminum off the cylinder walls. Anyway, some things to check: 1. Did it hold 6...

    2007 Daytona Beach Moto/Surf Freeride

WERD! We all need to be self-policing so Nick can relax. Nobody act out on the beach, don't rev your engines on the beach, be respectful of the beach patrol/lifeguards. If you see someone not being cool let them know. BTW you must be at least 25 feet from the water's edge to...

    Bllet proof 760 ? ? ?

Compression may be a tad high for extended WOT runs as well. Do you have any initial advance?

Best High End Oil for Big Bore in salt water

Yes, it's based on oil migration time, so directly dependant on RPM.

Best High End Oil for Big Bore in salt water

I run 40:1 as do many. A better oil will probably run at a leaner mixture than a poor one, but with less oil you also get less seal on the piston rings; I think I read once that 22:1 gave maximum power, but would no doubt foul plugs & cause rapid carbon buildup.

I ran out of 927 just before my last top end melted down....was running Penzzoil...hmmm, same pattern as the last melt down.... FYI there is a difference between 927 and Benol - plus, I'm stuck here in Texas at my in-laws, bored, w/little else to do besides play Halo..
