How short is too short for my pole?

another vote that says it'll feel awkward on the trailer but fine in the water. moving your footholds up isnt a bad thing either.

    B-pipe screws

Its motor setup and personal preference. There are many factors that are different between setups and you really should tune to your liking. I would try top open 3/4, the rest closed, and then try bottom open 3/4 the rest closed. Pick which on you like. Then fine tune from there.

    professional riders

any coverage on freerides is a good thing. the disclaimers just there for protection. nowadays you have to put disclaimers on everything for all the morons that are sue happy and think any of their actions should be your fault and they should get rich off you.

    wrestling shoe drains?

i would think it would let more in than out. i've found type of wrestling shoe matters too, I always had sand in my previous boots but my current ones dont get much in them. Not sure what feature helps keep the sand out though, just got lucky.

    New Engine Questions

just switch the stator and flywheel and run your 6m6 electronics, replace or mod the cdi though. i wouldnt do the deal you stated in your first post. plenty of much better options. you get that cylinder work for 800. you still have to get new gaskets. rejet carbs. clearance cases, ect ect. not...

so will a 46 mikuni be much better than a single 44?

will a straight aftermarket mikuni have the right bolt spacing? I know the wetjet spacing is wider but I thought the regular aftermarket carb would have the same spacing as a 44. I guess I'll see, I just bought one.

    Routine Maintenance for SJ

post your location and try and find some ridding buddies as well. even if no one lives in your immediate area, its nice to make a 3-4 hr drive once a month or so to have people to ride with and learn from.

    REVS or Diggers?

my point is a lot of people have said how awesome they are and it seems like most of them haven't ridden in them before or ridden a lot of different styles to compare to. and i dont understand the big advantage of not having to "pigeon" toe your feet. stand up and look down. i know my feet dont...

    REVS or Diggers?

how do you know they are comfortable if you've only seen them? I question the bandwagon going for REV footholds. Lots of people say how awesome they are but it seems like the just installed them and havent ridden in them much. It doesnt look like they would let you lean forward with them much.

    id these reeds

just wondering if these are carbon tech or boyseen reeds. I bought this 61x case and intake back in the fall and just happen to glance up at the reeds and noticed they were aftermarket. best part is i only paid 20 bucks shipped for the cases and he threw in the intake and reeds.:arms: oh and...

    my port attempt...

I have both templates. The exhaust looks more like the old style. But the sleeve skirt looks like the new freestyle. Attached is my 61x with the original sportport. Hope that helps with comparing the taper.

    my port attempt...

that doesnt look like the freestyle sportport to me. Maybe it is and I'm just not seeing it right, looks more like an oval than a trapezoid. :dunno:
