id these reeds

just wondering if these are carbon tech or boyseen reeds.

I bought this 61x case and intake back in the fall and just happen to glance up at the reeds and noticed they were aftermarket. best part is i only paid 20 bucks shipped for the cases and he threw in the intake and reeds.:arms: oh and the intake is also port matched to the reeds. :smile:

they look dirty but no fraying at all.

Do A/F reeds need reedstops or is the carbon not flexible enough to need them?

My Carbon Tech's required me to use my reed stops.

Not sure what those are in the picture. I've never seen 61x Carbon Tech's, but I can tell you that my Carbon Tech's for my 62t were a replica of the stock reeds except they were CF.

Didn't a company named "Bad Bones" make carbon reeds like that? A buddy of mine has a similar design reed on his 650 SJ and I think they are bad bones.

Boyesen Reeds for sure...Not carbon tech's or TDR's!
