    New PWC "mechanic" what are the MUST HAVE tools?

    Maybe for tools... bolts, washers, ect should be SS, ie not magnetic. Hope you have thin hands. I got a cheap set from Walmart. Thinner than my Craftsman and shorter in length. Typically these arent good qualities but in a confined space, they are nice.

    Is This Impeller Cut Back?

    look down inside the hub, where the treads are, theres a shoulder on the outside of the threads. this is where the stop is and where they would machine to "cut-back" the impellor. Removing material from there moves the end of the impellor back towards the stator blades.
