I recall reading that somewhere but someone else said his 1200 blaster was the most fun ski he's ever ridden. Is should still be under 400 lbs with the 1200 engine, which doesn't seem too bad on paper.

I guess it doesn't hurt much to at least try the stock pump, I mostly I liked that the GP pump has trim and the GP is a beast with it.

It's the non-pv 1200 and the pump (without trying yet) looks like it'll bolt right in, it's the old style 155mm pump.

Okay I have a complete Waveblaster and a complete GP1200... The 1200 motor is going in for sure but how about the pump? What's it take to put a 155mm pump into a Wave Blaster??? Can I use the original pump shoe?

That jetski jumping onto a tube thing was kind of lame IMO. Now, trying to backflip a $100,000+ monster truck - that was cool!

You might be able to find good suspension parts cheap on Ebay. That engine should run forever if all you do is trail ride it.

I'd go up to $1,250 if the compression is good. Yamaha's are easy to work on.

Don't worry about it, there's probably 10 other leaks that you can't see. That's just the wya life is. Some people have reported water in their hull after defoaming/sealing/refoaming so it's not a Yamaha problem.

He was referring to the lanyard switcc, not the throttle lever.

For $1,200 it's a no-brainer, even with no engine! I'd first try to find a complete engine for it.

I think it was the "jetbike". It had something like a 120hp triple in it.
