Hey... I know where that is :) Hopefully we have some better weather out there this year. Hardly any of the big boats run anymore thanks to gas prices. Cool video!
Wow that was a great video. Refreshing for sure! All of these new aftermarkets make me want to sell off an old race ski or two and build a Freestyle ski again.
Advent CDI's are not the best. They work when they want, cut out at random, and are generally a hassle. Throw in your Stock cdi and see what happens, then go from there. I would be surprised if this does NOT solve your problem.
Does this include reinforcement for the top of the pole and for the bottom where the bolt passes through? Hard to tell in the pictures.
EDIT: Zoomed in and I see it is just for the bottom of the pole. Do you happen to have the ones for the top as well? Thanks
Not sure how far along you've come with the pulse situation, but you can do the reed spacer as you've said, or you can drill your rear side of the case for a new fitting. I actually just T'd off the stock fitting and ran it to both of my Novis....yes, it works just fine. My recommendation is to...
You lose no low end with a dry pipe unless you dont have it tuned correctly...which would go for any ski. You gain everywhere with the dry pipe - especially if you throw in some water injection.
A lot of people would run a kawi 650 coupler with some hose clamps to contain the oil. Someone correct me if I am wrong, but I think that is the model of ski used. Look on pwtoday, a thread pops up every so often on it. There is no way to completely stop the leaking, it is just the nature of the...
I took a quick spin on this ski last weekend - I want one! It rode great and I have rode Q8's, A rickter, and some other home made BS as well as this ski. This hull is by far the best I have ridden in terms of user friendliness and comfort. FOr a short ski you can still turn on a dime, I even...
To fit the exhaust into an sxi hull, have your exhaust manifold milled down. You mill the face of the manifold that mates with the cylinder. This narrows up the exhaust setup and allows the stock components to fit. You still may have to grind on the outside of the chamber and a little of the...
5 stock spec class skis here, all with timing advance plate and jumpers plugged in. 87 Octane all day. This year will be the tenth season on all of these skis, they are all 03's and 04's. They have been rebuilt do to water ingestion or just for the sake of freshening them up - never an issue...
I am interested in purchasing a hull from a guy in florida, he can bring it to daytona. I need someone that is coming back to Michigan or Northern Ohio, preferably. I am just north of Detroit.
Shipping the hull from Florida, while it is a good price to ship a hull, puts the ski out of my...
