SX/SXi/SXi Pro SXR Factory Dry pipe in a SXI hull

What size exhaust tube (or whatever its called) did you use. The pipe tube for the sxr pipe is bigger then the part where it hooks up to the ski if that makes sense. Not sure if its the same on a sxi.

I can't remember the sizes, but I just had the hose flared to match the outlet of the pipe exactly and the tube I.D. is 2". I found a local company to manufacture the hose's for me, definatly not cheap!

How did this project ever turn out for you?

It has worked great! I feel its the best that you could ever make a SXI! I lost a piston and cracked a cylinder in my low port 800 motor and built another using a 2mm higher port, the low port definatly hit way way harder down low and carried to the top better! If I can find another crank I'm gonna build another with a 92 cylinder again and drop this one in my X2. Its kind of on the back burner since it runs and I'm wanting to build a aftermarket hull! All in all I have been more than happy with this setup!

Very nice build. I was told by some very experienced guys that this pipe would not fit.

Did you ever get to do a comparison between this ski and your pro with the triple?

I am building a 800 superstock pro with a nynja c4 pipe. I also have a speedwerx pipe like team Kawasaki used to use. Probably not as good as the sxr dry but close! That should fit no problem under my 3dr hood. My goal is 60 with the c4 wet pipe and pump gas.

I still have not got around to building the triple yet life has just got in the way and I never seem to have time anymore! I'm pretty sure a well setup triple would smoke it! Interested how that c4 works, never have been a fan of center bleeds! I'd like to try one in my X2 though!
