My props wear down due to riding in sandy salt water a ton. I have 3 props I rotate and send back to impros. They can wear down enough to cavitate and piss me off in as short as 2 months time.
You sure your midshaft wasn't from 1996 and halfway shot to begin with? I've also rebuilt my midshaft...

There is no ski that is wrench free. Buy something you can afford and learn how to wrench on it. It will only help you out when things do break. If you can't wrench on a ski you will never get far, because it cost too much to pay someone to do it for you.
Umi steering, milled down the clamp and used pro taper fat bar clamps. I then used pro taper Ricky charmichael bars. @BruceSki 's bars are too tall and it rides like sh it. Hahaha [emoji12]
It could be different but I made it out of scrap metal. I bolted my front foothold through the bottom of the plate too because the bulkhead is really thin there.
I grinded my 08 nozzle on the top groove only where it was catching the trim cable bracket.
You can't over tighten the bolts because there are top hat spacers. You can over tighten and strip the bolts if you tried hard enough though.
