No deep seeded hate here @speedysprocket my buddy has one I ride on the regular. It's a fun hull, I just have other preference. Nick is a cool dude, & he's got a great team of riders.
The hull is way different from anything else. It takes A little getting used to how much it slides around...
They were talking about swappable bottom decks. Your top deck would stay the same. If it had a chassis the engine and pump mounted to you could swap the bottom deck easy enough to a shorter flatwater hull, back to surf length.
What questions could you possibly want answered?
First things first I wouldn't buy a v1 of anything. First year car, machine, iPod, etc. A savvy consumer buys the latest greatest once it reaches a point that it's worth buying.
Also generically speaking, If there is any good/long lasting/game...
I don't know what kind of hood or pole you have now but using a spacer pad puts a lot of pressure on the hood if you jump and land with the pole down. A stock pole is weak as it is. Leaning down on it resting on the hood puts stress where it normally isn't when standing and having the pole...
I've hit a bunch of things in the ocean, but I've never come across a sledge hammer in the surf!
Drill bottom with it a few times and get back to me. They may have found a really strong shell but ever other part will still break!
All your bolts are tight but the inserts are loose? Is that what you just said? You're facked if that's the case.
Those bevel head Allen key bolts are short. Like 1/2 inch long thread depth. They are stainless into aluminum blocks so torque is critical.
I ride my ski 3-4 days a week and have...
If you were running your pipe cold and too much water to the box for a while the waterbox fills up with unburnt oil sludge. If you run your pipe dry and real hot it will make all the stuff that built up come out. Were you doing lots of WOT that day where you normally just putt around? Did you...
I thought I was gonna go OTB and eat sh it. Usually there's a mud bank where the mussels stick out of that's like hitting a curb. I got lucky the grass was tall and growing out of the mud. Leaned back and held on tight!!
My b pipe head pipe has been leaking some oil for a little while now. I kept blaming the gasket and replacing one after another and it just kept leaking. Almost had the manifold and head pipe milled, until I found the cause. It's a shame because I recently had it powdercoated, and it's an...
Will never happen. You need a ton of snap. I can do it on a BMX bike, and that's 25 lbs. Easiest off a mellow lip that will throw you far not necessarily high.
Look what they used at Pastrana land on the top of the lip for MX. They can at least hit the rear brakes.
Same with a BMX, you're...
