The versaplug doesn't seal perfect. That might be where water is trickling in when it sits. I don't even have a bilge pump in my ski, just 1 large versaplug. My ski kinda floats when sunk. I don't float around on it or leave it in the water. Has never been a problem the way I ride.

Don't over think it. It was either one problem or another. Shaft not in far enough or seal not in far enough. Only takes 1 hammer to solve both!!!! Lol
